Velvet Smoke: A Night Portrait

We used streetlights, colored LEDs and reflections for this night session, with a simple lighting setup. As the light changed, the dark dress and loose curls picked up amber and blue tones. Smoke added movement and texture, softening the frame around her expression. The frames have a cinematic feel, with relaxed poses and a calm confidence. Careful control of the light kept that stillness within the nightlife atmosphere.
