I built this poster around a 3D-rendered dragon sculpture, using modern design to express its strength and traditional character. In Photoshop, bright gradients and motion streaks give the still image a sense of movement. The background and typography carry that energy through the composition, making the dragon feel alive and as though it is breaking through the frame.

I used this design to experiment with motion and composition. Bold color and a strong sense of direction changed the energy of the still image. Combining traditional textures with a futuristic style gave it the power and balance I was looking for.
